My baby's first GM map!

Rose's Dungeon Map
Originally uploaded by Denara.
I picked up a piece of Rose's artwork from the floor and noted that it had what looked like doors. I asked Glenn about it, and he told me that Rose had drawn a map for running a game.

The next day, I asked Rose to tell me about the map. She and I went into the other room so that Glenn and Ivy wouldn't hear and have the game ruined. I talked with her and took a few notes on what she said. The red numbers were added to make it easier for me to make these notes.

1 Cherry trees and big rats (the rats are eating the cherries).

2 Door to the church

3 Stairs to the basement (the basement is level 1)

4 Gold pile with lots of rings & jewelry

5 Little drawer with lots of dresses

6 Room with not much interesting there. There are evil dogs in this room (the circles).

7 Plain room

8 Room with alot alot alot of bad wolfs

9 Lots of hills they had to walk up to get to the place.

10 A huge spider "I hate spiders, that's why I made a big spider!"

11 "There is alot of men sitting together and they were like totally there to fight, they were ready and had a plan to fight us."

12 Room where people used to come in and sit.

Hates spiders, but likes Spiderman? Cannot he do anything a spider can?

A giant spider almost killed her character in the Temple of Elemental Evil.

Spider-Man is not an actual spider. duh! ;)

ok... who really questions the mind of a 5 year old who is in love with Spidey and draws gaming maps?

She's going to be one kick-booty GM one day! She's even got reasons for why particular monsters are in particular places! Rats eating the cherries, indeed!

If only more older GMs thought their dungeon design out so well!
